Children's health is the fundamental basis for building the potential for adult health, is an important indicator of the country's well-being and a factor of national security.

The multidisciplinary sanatorium "Ural" is located on the border of the Eurasian continent, in the picturesque part of the Southern Urals. The natural resources of the Ural health resort have a wide range of climatotherapy. The unique combination of the mountains of the Trans-Urals, deciduous coniferous forests, meadows and the edge of beautiful lakes create favorable conditions for the full recovery of children. The year-round sanatorium "Ural" was founded in 2000, has the status of a Republican diversified health-improving institution. The sanatorium "Ural" provides general strengthening treatment for children with diseases of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive tract, nervous diseases and urinary system. The capacity of the sanatorium is 100 beds. The course of treatment is 18 days.

In the healing process, natural healing factors are used: climatic, mud.

Our sanatorium is of local importance and has, in a certain respect, advantages in comparison with sanatoriums located in resorts. During a stay in a local sanatorium, children do not have adaptation reactions to new climatic conditions, which are often adversely reflected during the disease and reduce the effectiveness of the sanatorium rehabilitation effect as a whole.

The age contingent of children is from 7 to 14 years. Duration of arrival - 21 days. Total races: 15. The schedule of races is made taking into account the state task, current and overhaul. The mode in the sanatorium is developed taking into account medical procedures, rest, meals, self-study and entertainment.

The contingent of children in need of spa treatment is identified during the examination of the pediatric population by the local pediatrician.

Throughout the year, in children's clinics, vouchers are sold through the Republican Children's Clinical Clinic (RCHD).

Indications for directions to the sanatorium "Ural" are:

- chronic respiratory diseases

- diseases of the gastrointestinal tract

Ways of using mineralized wipes PO-KUR.

Electrophoresis - Napkins used in electrophoresis procedures

on devices POTOK - 1.

SMT - pharesis on the device AMPLIPULES - 5

When conducting phoresis, a mineralized napkin is applied to the skin dry. A cloth pad moistened with water is applied on top along with the electrode. The wetting of the mineralized cloth occurs due to the cloth. Then the procedure is released. Napkins are superimposed under both electrodes, while the biologically active components contained in the tissue are introduced from both poles. Anions (iodine, bromine, chlorine) are introduced from the cathode, and cations (sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium) are introduced from the anode. Napkins are used once. Standard physiotherapeutic techniques are used (current strength, modes, exposure, places of application).

Compresses

The most commonly used and effective type of compress according to the method of application is a warming compress.

The warming compress consists of 4 layers. The first layer - a PO-KUR napkin, is applied dry directly to a sore area of the body. A gauze or other cloth napkin moistened with tap water at room temperature is applied on top of the second layer. This napkin should contain a sufficient amount of water, for which it is made of several layers. The moistened tissue towel is covered from above with a waterproof material (third layer) - plastic wrap, compression oilcloth, etc. This layer reduces heat loss caused by evaporation of water from the second layer. Finally, a fourth layer is applied to the insulating material (bike, batting, scarf, shawl). The compress consisting of these 4 layers is applied to the body, fixed with a dressing band for 0.5-1 hours.

Heat therapy

For thermal effects on the body, a variety of therapeutic muds are used.

(peloids) and peloid-like substances (paraffin, ozokerite, Naftalan, clay), their common property is the ability to retain heat for a long time and slowly give off its heat throughout the procedure and slowly give it to the patient’s body throughout the procedure, this is the basis for their high therapeutic activity. In addition to the temperature effects of most heat carriers of inorganic salts, biologically active substances, etc.

Indications

- subacute, chronic inflammatory diseases and traumatic injuries: peripheral nervous system, musculoskeletal system, ligaments, muscles

trophic ulcers, sluggish wounds, burns in the stage of scarring

(to prevent the formation of gross scars and contractures)

- chronic cholecystitis, gastritis, colitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the stage of decaying exacerbation and remission

- chronic inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs.

Contraindications

- acute inflammatory diseases

- suppurative processes

- bleeding

- neoplasms

- hepatitis

inflammatory kidney disease

- blood diseases.

Paraffin therapy.

Paraffin - a product of oil distillation, contains a mixture of high molecular weight hydrocarbons of the methane series. It has high heat capacity, low thermal conductivity, and large heat-holding ability. The melting point of medical paraffin 52 - 55 * C.

Paraffin must be completely dehydrated. When hardened, it decreases in volume by 10 - 12%, while providing a mechanical (compression) effect on the underlying tissue. Thus, the therapeutic effect of paraffin on the body is based on its thermal and compression effects.

Healing effects

anti-inflammatory (dehydrating), reparative - regenerative, vasodilator, antispasmodic.

Some procedures

1. Cuvette - application technique. It is convenient in work, it is the most sparing in temperature effect, therefore it should be used in all medical institutions. Melted paraffin is poured into ditches. The layer thickness should be at least 2 cm. The hardening paraffin, the temperature of which reached 50-52 * C, is removed from the cuvette and applied to the skin area to be exposed, covered with a compress oilcloth and a padded jacket. Application time 20-30 minutes. To keep paraffin elastic, when heated to a paraffin heater, 600 ml of fresh and 15 ml of paraffin oil are added to 6 liters of old paraffin daily. Usually at the end of the working day, paraffin is prepared the next day. The cuvettes install a thermostat, in the chamber of which the air temperature is automatically maintained at 55 * C.

2. The method of layering. The paraffin, melted and heated to a temperature of 55-60 * C, is applied to the corresponding skin area with a flat brush with a layer of 1-2 cm, covered with compress oilcloth and a padded jacket. The duration of the procedure is 20-30 minutes.

3. Napkin - application technique. After applying one or two layers of heated paraffin to the skin, apply a gauze towel soaked in paraffin at a temperature of 60 * C and slightly wrung out. The napkin is covered with a double towel or blanket folded in several layers. The duration of the procedure is 20-30 minutes

Ozokeritotherapy.

Ozokerite (mountain wax) contains ceresin, paraffin, mineral oils, asphaltene, resins, gases. Unlike paraffin, ozokerite contains biologically active substances that penetrate during the procedure into the body through intact skin. In medical practice, ozokerite is used as an anti-inflammatory,

Analgesic, antispastic. In addition, it has a stimulating effect on reparative processes.

The method of using ozokerite is similar to the method of using paraffin.

In medical practice, a mixed type of treatment is often used - paraffin-Ozokeritotherapy. The ingredients are in equal proportions.

Some procedures

The cuvette is an application technique. Heated ozokerite is poured into ditches. The thickness of the cake should be 3 cm.

After cooling to a temperature of 48 - 50 * C, a cake of ozokerite is applied to the area of the body to be exposed, covered with oilcloth, then folded in several layers with a terry towel or blanket for 20 - 30 minutes. To reduce the stickiness of ozokerite, 2% paraffin can be added to it.

Aerosol Therapy - Stationary Ultrasonic Inhaler

Albedo

As a result of grinding the drug substance, its active surface and biological effect on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, as well as on the whole body with relatively small amounts of the drug, significantly increase.

Medicinal substances administered by inhalation, getting into the pulmonary circulation, bypassing the liver, which ensures a longer activity of the drug. The localization of its deposition in the bronchopulmonary apparatus and the maximum concentration depend on the degree of dispersion of the aerosol. If necessary, use large aerosols with a particle size of at least 30 microns to affect the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, nose, pharynx, and larynx. With an average dispersion, the size of aerosol particles reaches 10-30 microns, and their maximum deposition occurs in the trachea and large bronchi. With fine dispersion, the particle size does not exceed 0.5-10 microns: Particles 10 microns in size penetrate to the bronchioles, and 0.5-3 microns in size in the alveoli. The greatest absorption capacity is possessed by the epithelium of bronchioles and alveoli.

Indications

- acute respiratory diseases, rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tracheitis, bronchitis;

- pneumonia, lung abscess, bronchiectasis;

- burns and damage by toxic substances and poisons of the respiratory tract.

Warning: with increased sensitivity to the drug, it is strictly forbidden to use it for inhalation therapy. In doubtful cases, before a course of inhalation therapy, a test for sensitivity to the drug should be performed. Medicinal substances that cause allergization of the body (novocaine, glucose, expectorant syrups, etc.) cannot be used for inhalation.

For aerosol inhalation apply:

- Slime-dissolving and slime-reducing substances (coarse and medium-dispersed aerosols). Reducing the viscosity of mucus is achieved using substances that have a mucolytic, antialytic effect or by changing the concentration of salts on the surface of the mucous membranes. Such substances include: 1-2% solution of sodium bicarbonate (100 ml), drinking mineral water (100 ml).

- Astringent and slightly cauterizing substances (coarse aerosols).

This group includes: infusion of chamomile flowers (6g per 200 ml of distilled water).

infusion of sage leaves (6 g per 200 ml of distilled water).

the influence of the temperature factor in contrasting procedures is more pronounced - the alternation of cold and thermal water stimulus. The mechanical effect on the body is manifested in any hydrotherapy sessions. The most powerful mechanical effect on the human body is exerted by healing souls (circular, ascending, Charcot's shower, underwater massage shower).

Mechanical irritations of the numerous nerve endings of the skin, muscles, tendons, blood vessels through the central nervous system cause complex responses from various organs and systems of the body.

To enhance the irritating effect of the receptors (chemoreceptors) of the patient’s skin, some chemicals are added to the water: sodium chloride, iodine, bromine, pine needles extract, etc. Ions of such biologically active trace elements (iodine, bromine, arsenic) contained in mineral water, and dissolved in Gases (carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide) penetrate through intact skin into the general blood flow, and then the specific nature of the action of balneotherapy is manifested.

Underwater shower massage.

Underwater shower massage is a kind of procedure that combines the action of a fresh or medicinal bath on the body and the intense mechanical stress created by a jet of water under pressure. It is carried out in compliance with the general rules of therapeutic massage, dosing of mechanical action is carried out by changing the pressure of the water, the diameter of the jet (selection of the tip on the hose), the angle of incidence of the water jet on the patient’s body and the distance from the tip edge to the body surface.

To create a stroking effect, the tip must be taken away from the patient’s body to a distance of 10-15 cm, the angle of the water jet to the body should be set equal to 30 * and air suction should be included in the water to create pearl bubbles.

To obtain vibration, it is necessary to oscillate with your hand with a hose and a massaging water jet. Massage movements with a stream of water are carried out from the periphery to the center in order to promote lymph flow and venous circulation.

The abdomen is massaged clockwise. The area of the heart, genitals, mammary gland is not massaged.

The temperature of the water in the bath is 36 * C. The duration of the massage is 15-20 minutes daily or every other day. The course of treatment is 10 procedures.

Indications.

-cardiopsychoneurosis,

- ulcerative disease of the stomach and duodenum in the stage of decaying exacerbation.

Sodium Chloride Baths

Sodium salts, as well as magnesium, calcium, chlorine, iodine ions present in water irritate skin chemoreceptors during and after the procedure. In addition, biologically active trace elements (iodine, bromine) penetrate through the skin into the general blood flow and have a humoral effect. Mineral baths increase the intensity of metabolic processes, normalize the processes of excitation and inhibition in the cerebral cortex, stimulate blood circulation, respiration and the neuromuscular apparatus. Chloride - sodium baths are most often prepared from sea salt.

The concentration of salt in water should be 20-50g / l, water temperature

36-38 * C. The duration of the procedure is 12-15 minutes daily or every other day.

The course of treatment is 10-15 sessions.

Halotherapy

The method of treatment with a microclimate, according to some parameters corresponding to the microclimate of salt copies, in

conditions of a specially created medical and preventive complex Halokamera.

High treatment efficiency is associated with the unique natural characteristics of caves. The main active factor is almost aseptic, non-allergenic air saturated with dry, highly dispersed aerosol of sodium chloride. In addition, the air of the caves has a constant temperature and humidity conditions.

In speleotherapy, the aerodispersed medium saturated with dry aerosol of sodium chloride at a concentration of 0.5-9m / m has a therapeutic effect.

The dispersion of particles equal to 1-5 microns. Facilitates the penetration of aerosol into all departments of the respiratory tract. Dry aerosol of sodium chloride has a significant negative

space charge of particles, which increases its stability. Dry aerosol does not cause swelling of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract and bronchospasm, on the contrary, it takes fluid from the lung tissue, thereby reducing its swelling. The positive therapeutic effect of speleotherapy is due to the fact that the sodium chloride aerosol improves the rheological properties of the bronchial contents, contributing to the normalization of mucociliary clearance. In a patient with chronic pulmonary pathology, the amount of sodium chloride in the bronchial secretion is reduced, therefore, the function of the ciliary epithelium of the bronchi. During the halotherapy course, due to the action of the aerosol of sodium chloride, the drainage function of the respiratory tract improves:

- Sputum separation is facilitated, its viscosity is reduced, cough is relieved,

The auscultatory picture in the lungs changes.

Halotherapy reduces the inflammatory reaction of the mucosa of the upper and lower respiratory tract, has a positive effect on the state of humoral and cellular immunity, and reduces the content of immunoglobulin in patients with bronchial asthma.

Therapeutic effects.

-secretolytic

anti-inflammatory

- immunosuppressive.

Indications.

- acute respiratory diseases with prolonged course

- Frequently recurring respiratory diseases in children

recurrent croup syndrome

Our story

In March 1987, specifically for the treatment of agricultural workers in our Republic, an inter-collective farm sanatorium, a sanatorium "Ural", was built and began to function. It turned out various types of medical procedures, including: mud therapy, hydrotherapy, ozokeritotherapy, physiotherapy, inhalation, etc., more than 20 types of treatment that have a beneficial effect on the treatment and prevention of polyarthritis, osteochondrosis, vibration disease, bronchitis, the effects of injuries , diseases of the nervous system and other characteristic diseases of machine operators, livestock workers. In the Trans-Urals, it was the only medical institution intended for the sanatorium-resort service of agricultural workers and members of their families, as well as workers in other sectors of the national economy. People who visited here spoke approvingly of both the treatment itself and the level of service. Places have always been filled. For treatment took more than a hundred people in one run.

Until August 1994, the distribution of permits and the financing of the sanatorium was carried out by the association Bashkolkhozzdravnitsa and the Reskom of the agricultural workers union. As a private property of Reskom AIC, with the separation of the social insurance fund from the trade unions, the resort was left without sources of funding. In December 1996, the Republican Association Agrozdravnitsa (Bashkolkhozzdravnitsa) was liquidated and the sanatorium from that moment lost all management connections from higher organizations, i.e. not related to either Republican or municipal property. There was half according to the standards of budgetary, half self-supporting organizations. All concerns fell on the shoulders of the team, 85% of which were women. No financial support was provided; they themselves had to implement vouchers for the most part on barter. Vouchers paid for utilities. Food and medicine were also purchased for trips. Repeated appeals of the chief doctor of the sanatorium Shakirova M.R. in Reskoy of the trade union and Bashkolkhozzdravnitsa with a request to help get out of the crisis, they did not give any results.

The employees of the sanatorium and the administration of Uchaly and Uchalinsky district, in order to preserve the main purpose of the sanatorium - treatment of people, were forced to contact the administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus with a request to assist in the transfer of the sanatorium to the balance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. To carry out the rehabilitation and rehabilitation of disabled young people or children with disabilities. Fortunately, the sanatorium had all the conditions: a modern standard building, where the dining room, living rooms and treatment rooms are combined, you do not need to go outside, two local rooms with all amenities, fully equipped treatment rooms, the presence of unique therapeutic mud of Uchalinskie lakes.

By order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 264-P dated 03/31/2000, and by order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus No. 235-D dated 04/04/2000. “On the organization of the Republican children's multidisciplinary sanatorium“ Ural ”, by the resolution of the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on state property management No. 298 dated 05/06/2000, the inter-farm sanatorium-preventorium was reorganized into the State Healthcare Institution, the Republican children's multidisciplinary sanatorium“ Ural ”.

Today, children from different regions and cities of our republic are undergoing treatment in the sanatorium: Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat, Ishimbay, Neftekamsk, Baymak, Beloretsk, etc.
