The multidisciplinary sanatorium "Ural" is located on the border of the Eurasian continent, in the picturesque part of the Southern Urals. The natural resources of the Ural health resort have a wide range of climatotherapy. The unique combination of the mountains of the Trans-Urals, deciduous coniferous forests, meadows and the edge of beautiful lakes create favorable conditions for the full recovery of children. The year-round sanatorium "Ural" was founded in 2000, has the status of a Republican diversified health-improving institution. The sanatorium "Ural" provides general strengthening treatment for children with diseases of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive tract, nervous diseases and urinary system. The capacity of the sanatorium is 100 beds. The course of treatment is 18 days.
In the healing process, natural healing factors are used: climatic, mud.
Our sanatorium is of local importance and has, in a certain respect, advantages in comparison with sanatoriums located in resorts. During a stay in a local sanatorium, children do not have adaptation reactions to new climatic conditions, which are often adversely reflected during the disease and reduce the effectiveness of the sanatorium rehabilitation effect as a whole.
The age contingent of children is from 7 to 14 years. Duration of arrival - 21 days. Total races: 15. The schedule of races is made taking into account the state task, current and overhaul. The mode in the sanatorium is developed taking into account medical procedures, rest, meals, self-study and entertainment.
The contingent of children in need of spa treatment is identified during the examination of the pediatric population by the local pediatrician.
Throughout the year, in children's clinics, vouchers are sold through the Republican Children's Clinical Clinic (RCHD).
Indications for directions to the sanatorium "Ural" are:
- chronic respiratory diseases
- diseases of the gastrointestinal tract

ON AMENDMENTS TO THE PROCEDURE OF PROVISION OF MEDICAL CARE FOR A MINOR
DURING HEALTH AND ORGANIZED REST,
APPROVED BY ORDER OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
OF APRIL 16, 2012 N 363
1. Clause 2 of the Procedure shall be worded as follows:
"2. Children who do not have the following medical contraindications for staying in institutions are sent to organizations of recreation and rehabilitation (hereinafter referred to as institutions):
somatic diseases in the acute and subacute stage, chronic diseases in the acute stage, in the stage of decompensation;
infectious and parasitic diseases, including those with eye and skin lesions, infestations (pediculosis, scabies) - until the end of the isolation period;
the diagnosis "bacterial carriage of pathogens of intestinal infections, diphtheria";
active tuberculosis of any localization;
malignant neoplasms requiring treatment, including chemotherapy;
epilepsy with ongoing seizures, including resistant to ongoing treatment;
epilepsy with drug remission less than 1 year;
cachexia;
mental disorders and behavioral disorders in a state of exacerbation and (or) posing a danger to the patient and others;
Mental and behavioral disorders caused by substance use. "
2. Supplement with paragraph 2.1 as follows:
"2.1. Children who need to comply with the treatment regimen prescribed by the attending physician (diet, taking medications for medical use and specialized medical food products) are sent to institutions in which conditions for their stay are created, including the presence of a pediatrician, conditions for storing medicines for medical use and specialized medical nutrition products.
Children who need accompaniment and (or) individual assistance in connection with existing physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments are sent to institutions in which conditions are created for them to be accompanied by legal representatives or other persons with a power of attorney certified in the established manner and medical certificate of the health status of the accompanying person.
For disabled children, the need for support and (or) individual assistance is determined in accordance with the existing restrictions of the main categories of life indicated in the individual
