During the implementation of the priority national project in the field of healthcare in the region in January-December 2010, the following indicators were achieved:
the incidence of acute viral hepatitis B is 0.57 per 100 thousand population, which is 9 cases lower than the same period in 2009 - 1.2 per 100 thousand population (target of 3.0 per 100 thousand population);
the incidence of measles in the region is not recorded (target of 0.8 per 100 thousand people);
the incidence of influenza over 12 months amounted to 322 cases, which is 12.85 times lower than the incidence rate in 2009 (the target is a decrease in the intensity of the influenza epidemic).
As a result of the activities carried out as part of supplementary immunization in 2010, no measles, diphtheria, tetanus, rubella, and polio diseases were recorded in the region among adults and children.
As a result of immunization against poliomyelitis with an inactivated vaccine, no cases of vaccine-associated poliomyelitis are recorded in the region.
Prevention of HIV infection, hepatitis B and C, detection and treatment of HIV patients.
During the implementation of the project in the area of “HIV infection” in the region for the 12 months of this year, the following indicators were achieved:

As of December 31, 2010, 131 people with HIV infection were in constant care at the regional health facilities, with a planned annual rate of 130 people (100.8%).
Since the beginning of the year, 31 people have been admitted to therapy, with a planned annual rate of 30 people (103%).
17 complete courses of chemoprophylaxis of infection of children born to HIV-positive mothers were carried out, with a planned annual rate of 15 courses (113%).

The incidence rate decreased by 5.8% and amounts to 47.3 per 100 thousand people.
Mortality decreased by 21.5% and amounts to 7.3 per 100 thousand of the population. The incidence of children decreased by 22.6% and is 7.2 per 100 thousand. children's population. For many years there has been no mortality in children and adolescents from tuberculosis.
The incidence of adolescents decreased by 58.9% and is 15.5 per 100 thousand. adolescent population.
The incidence of the most severe forms of tuberculosis has decreased, namely with bacterial excretion by 20%, with decay cavities by 11%, and fibro-cavernous tuberculosis by 50%.

On the territory of the region in 2009, by decision of the Department of Health dated 21.04.2009 No. 215 “On the implementation of measures to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population of the region, 5 Health Centers for Adults and 2 for Children were organized within the framework of the Healthcare Program on the basis of municipal healthcare institutions.
Work is underway to create a healthy lifestyle for citizens living in the region, with the coverage of the population not only living in the territories served by these health facilities, but also the population of the attached municipalities.
Raising public awareness of risk factors for the development of diseases and the principles of a healthy lifestyle: regular posting of materials on the website under the heading "Health Department News", "Thematic Pages" 2 times a week (materials on creating a healthy lifestyle, overcoming tobacco dependence, and prevention of alcoholism , recommendations for physical activity).
On January 1, 2006, the Health project was launched. The project has already received the name of “national priority project” and was developed to implement the proposals of President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin to improve medical care in the Russian Federation. The main objective of the project is to improve the health situation and create conditions for its subsequent modernization.
Within the framework of the national project “Health”, three main areas can be distinguished: increasing the priority of primary health care, strengthening the preventive focus of healthcare, and expanding the availability of high-tech medical care.
It is planned to focus on strengthening primary medical care (municipal polyclinics, district hospitals) - increasing salaries for local doctors and nurses, equipping these medical facilities with necessary equipment, retraining general practitioners, and introducing birth certificates.
